Chris Novak is a strategist who helps organizations articulate what they do and build stronger relationships with their constituents. Chris wears many hats as her work mines the critical intersection of strategic planning, branding, and marketing communications to maximize results. Prior to founding ClearAgenda, Chris pioneered integrated worldwide campaigns at Ogilvy for clients such as AT&T, Merck, Johnson & Johnson, and others, winning many industry awards for creativity and effectiveness. Chris has a BA from Yale in art history and an MBA from Harvard.
Mary Ann Zeman is a writer/creative director who brings her skills as a problem solver and resident optimist to every ClearAgenda project. Throughout her career, Mary Ann has specialized in synthesizing complex information for clients such as IBM, Fortune magazine, Nikon, and Merck. Before founding ClearAgenda, she was an executive creative director at Ogilvy helping a large group of writers and art directors produce their best work. Mary Ann received a BA from Pitzer College and an MA in English and American literature from the University of Washington.
Cathie Campbell is an art director/creative director who has long specialized in helping brands express themselves with clarity and elegance. She has won numerous awards for her work and has judged many award shows, nationally and internationally. At Ogilvy, she and Mary Ann led the creative group that created campaigns for Maxwell House, Merck, New York State Tourism, Fortune magazine, and Kimberly Clark. At ClearAgenda, Cathie relishes using her expertise to help non-profits create vibrant, coherent brand communications.
Venetia Hands brings three essential skills to ClearAgenda: market research, creative facilitation, and organizational development. As research and strategic planning director for Ogilvy and D’Arcy McManus Masius, she helped define and develop major brands for clients such as American Express and Kraft Foods. Since 1990, she has led a consulting process that helps people collaborate across organizations, disciplines, and departments. Venetia has a master’s in organization development from Pepperdine University and a BSc in experimental psychology from Sussex University.
