Since 1822, the Jewish Child Care Association has maintained a
special commitment to the Jewish community, especially to immigrant families who are struggling
to establish new lives.
But today the majority of the agency’s clients are not Jewish. JCCA serves over 12,000 children
and families from the larger New York community who are struggling with poverty, abuse, family crises,
or who are without hope for the future.
ClearAgenda worked with JCCA to create a communications platform that inextricably links the agency’s
expanded mission and all its programs to Jewish traditions and core values. As JCCA’s new elevator pitch
concludes, "In all our programs we’re motivated by tikkun olam, the Jewish mandate to ‘repair the world,’
and by our belief that every child deserves to grow up hopeful."
